Weaving Water is about connection – connections to places, people and possibilities. We are all part of the weave and this weave is like the Wyrd – it is the life giving aspect of the Tree of Life Yggdrasil being nurtured by the well of Urd. This connective energy has been part of my journey into understanding the threads of the ley lines, of our ecosystems and BEING on this planet.
About 8 months into the planning of this project I was amazed to learn that Weaving Water is part of Druidic practice. This is a realm related to my ancestral knowledge as my grandparents were members of the Ancient Order of Druids. I learnt this just after making a pilgrimage to Chartres to be at this sacred site which was also a gathering place of the ancient druids before the cathedral was built.
I am inspired by the possibilities of how we can manifest, imagine and practically build on these threads of understanding through collaboration and co-creation.
