It’s not you trying to do the weaving,
this Country is trying to weave you, this whole continent is you.
(Wanta Jampijinpa Pawu)

Why Weaving Water?

Weaving Water is about connection – connections to places, people and possibilities.

WEAVING WATER

We acknowledge the traditional custodians of Country and honour their continuing connection to land, water, culture and community. We pay our respects to all Elders past, present and future leaders. We especially acknowledge the Elders of the Joondoburri and Gubbi Gubbi peoples, on whose land we live and work. We pay our respects to all First Nations peoples and acknowledge their enduring connection to Mother Earth.
